What is the Freshen Up Your Fridge contest?
The Freshen Up Your Fridge contest, sponsored for the second year by Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese, encourages Americans to freshen up their fridge by removing unhealthy items and adding fresh, all-natural foods. The individual with the best response, based on pre-determined set of criteria, will win a year’s supply of Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese, a new Whirlpool® side-by-side refrigerator with 6th Sense Technology, an in-home visit by a registered dietitian and a $50 gift card toward their first healthy food shopping trip. In addition, one first runner-up will win a year’s supply of Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese and a $500 gift card, and one second runner-up will receive a year’s supply of Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese and a $250 gift card.
How can I enter the Freshen Up Your Fridge contest?
Beginning June 7, 2010, log on to www.FreshenUpYourFridge.com and share why your eating habits can be improved through a fresh fridge makeover in 50 words or less. Entries may only be submitted online through www.FreshenUpYourFridge.com. No mobile, fax or mail-in entries will be accepted.
Who may enter the Freshen Up Your Fridge contest?
The Freshen Up Your Fridge contest is open to anyone who is looking to improve their eating habits and live a healthier lifestyle. You are not eligible to enter and will be disqualified if: you are an employee of Daisy BrandEmployees of Daisy Brand, LLC, any affiliated partner agencies and immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), and household members of each such employee (whether related or not).
What are the requirements to enter the Freshen Up Your Fridge Contest?
Contestants must be 18 years of age or older as of June 7, 2010, and be a legal United States resident residing in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia during the competition. Entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. All entries must be submitted no later than August 31, 2010.
May I enter more than once?
No. Only one entry per individual will be accepted.
Do I have to make a purchase to enter?
No purchase is necessary to enter the Freshen Up Your Fridge contest. Purchases will not improve chances of winning. However, a 65 cent coupon is available to consumers who enter the contest at www.FreshenUpYourFridge.com.
When will the winner be announced?
The grand prize winner and the runner-up winners will be announced September 13, 2010.
How are winners chosen?
At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the potential grand, first runner-up and second runner-up prize winners with the highest scoring Submissions from among all eligible Submissions based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):
- Ability to convey a desire to lead a healthy lifestyle (45%);
- Creativity of Submission (25%);
- Emotional connection (20%); and
- Quality of writing featured in the Submission (10%)
Who selects the winners?
Representatives of Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese will select the winners.
How will I know if I won?
Potential winners will be notified by mail, email or phone by September 13, 2010.
